 We do athletics at school at athletics we have High jump,long jump and sprint's I think I am good at High jump and long jump. I fall sometime in the sandpit but I get back up and try again. It is alot of fun when you try and try and then you fainly get it yay. It is first hard to jump high enough.
   

Week one blog post

This week for iDrive I did the creative playground with Sophie, Lara, Kate, Ashling, Emma, Elaina. Sophie and I were clowns Emma and Lara were tightrope walkers and Kate was with them. Elaina was an acrobat she fell on some of her parts and Sophie and I had a puppet show. Ashling was the host. She was really funny. I think we used creativity and Aroha. Aroha means love. And I loved our act. We used creativity because we made our own act and it just popped in to our head so we just went with the flow.

My Term 3 Reflection

iDrive Reflection Week 6

This week I did some building and I did that with Stella and Sophie. We were building a birds house out of wood. I made a bed, Stella made a balcony  and Sophie started to make the house. We all did a lot of questioning like what are we going to make? What do I need to make this? And lots more. When we had the wood and paint we started what Stella made that was for the balcony the colour she put on that was really cool it was a nice light blue. I think that our finished project will look good and it is starting to now. It is

nice and bright.

iDrive Refection

Today for iDrive I did box modelling. I made a house for Mrs B and it started to go well. I did it with Paige and Mischa. We have not finished it yet we need to do Mrs B room. We had some thing we need to use. So we did some problem solving. Some things we did not like and some we did. Here is a photo of us working together.

My art reflection

We did some art last team and it was a lino art. I think that it was a good choice that I choose because I though that we had to do some sort of  island  art but I was wrong, it was Pacifica island art. I made a flower and I will go through the steps of how to make it.. Step one, you need to know what you would like to make your sketch of, eg a flower? leaves? fish?   Step two you need to draw a good copy of the sketch you have choosen to do on a piece of paper. Step three. Put your sketch face down on rhe lino Then get a really dark pencil and colour a piece of paper in as dark as you can or until your lino then shows the sketch. Step four, outline your sketch on the lino with the dark pencil. Step five, . Then you get your caver and start  carving away a little bit of the lino from around your sketch. It will take a long time to do your caving. once you have done your caving you can start inking your art, with ink and rollers using the darkest colours first And Ink it again when  it is dry until you want to stop the last colour you should do is black.

iDrive Reflection 30/07/15

Today we did iDrive.  iDrive is a fun thing that we do on Thursday. Here are some of the activities, there is Carpentry, Play dough,Lucky Dip and much more. The skill that I used was to learn more about sharing. Today I did play dough and that was really fun because the dough was really slushy and soft . Kate and I Collaborated and made some hot dogs here are some photos.

A Term Reflection

This term I have been doing art and I think it is going good. I like the art that we do on Thursdays we have done two so far, one is clay and the other is lino. I have had so much trouble with the art and I had to go back and fix it, but I like it. I am one of the kids that have trouble with the work and never finish the work when I need to. Every Friday I would  like to be in celebration but I am not. I’ll try to get into it this week .It will be hard for me to finish my work any way. I'm just afraid that I'm not going to get it done but I think I can. My goal is to get my work started and when I start I have to finish it that same day and not talk as much as I do. I am looking forward to next term, so I can prove to the teachers that I can get my work done. The other thing I like in school is trying my hardest to try and get my stuff  done. And off the other goal I would like to do some other art.

J Rock

 There was 11 school's at J rock in Hamilton.We had to practice. It took a lot of time out of learning time Do it. There was lots of people there even I felt scrad for the people that were on the stage. I was hoping that Ngatea was not going to stuff it up but they didn't. I watch some performances and they were cool. We did a good job well done Ngatea.

ANZAC day

ANZAC day is a day we need to remember. ANZAC  day is like Christmas for the soldiers that were in the war we are grateful enough becuse they saved our contrys. lots of people died for the war. Some of my family went to war here is a photo. One is a blue medal  United Nations the seconed one is  green East tiomor   the third is black was engener.

Black Caps

Yesterday I watched the Black Caps it was pretty exciting.Yesterday I played like them at school. We lost by 3 but we played baseball that was fun.I don't really play baseball much. But I think I need to work on my writing more. We had to write 2 or more brainstorm.

The man on the beach looks devastated. His house is smashed and lying in ruins. Driftwood is scattered along the beach. He wonders what to do first and where the storm has placed itself now. The power pole now stands on a lean instead of straight, like soldier.

Today I did some clay art. We finished them today we started a new art with flowers in it next we will have a different teacher next week we are going to do a background.

 We started a new art because we did not have glue. We messed around with paint making up a background  and then cut it out  of our flowers.
