Weekly reflection

This week I have been working with my learning team and we have been writing a story. Here is the start. Aiden, Sophia, Abigail and Jackson are four best friends who go to Franklin School. Aiden has short brown hair, brown eyes, is 12 and is fast at running. Sophia has straight blond hair, blue eyes, is 12 and likes playing in the swimming pool. Abigail has red curly hair, blue eyes, is 11 and is really good at maths. Jackson has green eyes, black hair, is 13 and is really strong.

Every morning Aiden, Sophia, Abigail and Jackson meetup at Luna Street and ride their bikes to school together.  But Aiden always is trying to beat the others to school and be the leader.  Once they got to school they all went to art. “Did you hear that”  Asked Sophia “No Sophia it’s dead silent” said Aiden. “What did you supposedly hear Soph”? “The wall, its creaking”...

Smash, the wall crashed and fell on Jackson, he was trapped he couldn’t move. Jackson was in pain and didn’t have a positive mind set. When the dust had cleared the others found Jackson just laying there “Help me!” said Jackson. “I am going to go and find the first aid kit and bandage jackson up once we get him out”. Said Sophia. When Sophie got back, Abigail said “Come on we can do it, have some faith. I have courage, I mean, I help people when they need it, and I have guts and grit to show that I am responsible and caring. “ I think for the plan to get jackson out  we need Abigail and I to lift at the same time and then Sophie can pull Jackson out and bandage him up.

The plan worked Sophia bandaged Jackson up and then they made a little trailer so they could tow Jackson to the hospital. When they got to the hospital they rushed to the surgery room because Jackson had glass and wood in his leg and he had to get it out as fast as they could .When jackson came out of surgery he was sore and in pain so he stayed at the hospital overnight. “I know that his parents will freak out so let's just say we haven’t seen him yet

IE workshop

On Tuesday a group of us went to Whetu to share something about or IE. I teamed up Ashling and we did canvas and adobe spark. The Adobe spark wasn't working as well as a canvas so we just did canvas. Here are the comments that people wrote. The Student learned what Canva and adobe spark is about and how they can use it. I think they have learned how they can put it on there blog let's hear what they have to say.

Cruz: Thank you for teaching us this on canvas.

Tyler:  Thank you for helping us it was fun and cool and I will go on it again.

Brooke: Thank you for telling us how to work canvas. I think I am going to use this again.

Nikita: Thank you for helping us make a really cool creation.

weekly reflection

This week was good we practiced or plays and learned most of it of heart and made a poster. I have done a word of the week that I am proud of. I also proud of the poster that we had made for our play and the zentangling panters that I had made up and copied of I am so excited to act the play out.

We are making costumes for the flowers.

The magical island in the sky

“Once upon a, Wait why and I saying this it was just yesterday, Hi I’m Olivia and I am 12 years old and I live in a small town called Ngatea. I have five people in my family including myself. I am with  my best friends and they're going to tell you a bit about themselves.”

“Hello I’m Stella  I am the smartest in the group I like reading and writing and my nickname is Stella Bella Cinderella.”

“Hi I am Ashling I am silly confusing and funny I like a little bit of reading and writing. My nickname is Ash “

“Hello I’m Kate and I am super duper crazy, Inside I hate math but when I go to a meeting   I say to my friends that I love it and there is alot more to my crazy side. My nickname is puff katie or Katie pie.”

“And now it’s time to meet my mum.”

“Hello I’m Olivia’s mum and I love her so much that I let her have as many friends over when She wants to and when I can be bothered.”

“I walk into my room one day and I find most of my things have gone like my computer and  everything  on my desk and the desk and then I walk into my sister's room and I find that her bed is gone, shame on her I say in my head. I walk out to the lounge and I see mum she looks mad she thinks that my sister or I stole her make up and I  didn’t and she is pretty mad. I tell her that some of our stuff in our rooms have gone and she got mad about this so we called the polices and the lady on the phone said

“ Yes, there has been alot of robbery lately and that it's going to be on the news.”

We hang up and then we turn the tv on and on the news it say Breaking news

“ There has been robberies all over the world and since the robberies there has been a magical world above New Zealand” said the news man.

“Just in  everybody in Ngatea, Thames, Paeroa and Maramarua needs to evicatie ematadlty or you just need to keep your  kids and yourself indoors. DO NOT  I repeat DO NOT let your kid or kids  go to SCHOOL!”

Ding ding

Kate sent Ashling stella and I a snapchat “Oh my good did you watch the tv?” said Kate

Yes we all reply.

“Should we go there I mean Olivia's mum could take us and she will be there if we need a parent.” Said Ashling

“Ok I will talk to my mum” says Olivia  

“Wait it might be a trap and I mean it isn’t going to pretty It’s going to be a junk yard” said Kate

“Yeah good point” Said Kate

“Guys mum said that we could go on a few conditions we take a camera we get or stuff back and we let brooklyn (Olivia’s sister) and her friends come to.”

Stella, Kate and Ashling get into a car and there mums drive them to my house they all get out of the car with back pack and they come inside.

“So what's the plan?”Kate says.

“Oh my god where you even listening when Olivia said the plan.” Stella says.   

“Phh Yeah I was.” said Kate

“We all know your lieing Kate.” says Ashling

We all get in the car and we drive to one of the chains and climb up and then we see a door when we get to the top. We walk into find, A beautiful place it was like the Queen’s house.  We walk around and we find our things and get out  but we see a small part of the land above and it was called  the candy land. We grab some lollys and drinks and then run out we go and down to the car then home sweet home.  

                               The End

This is a story that I have been working on with Kate.

Mr. Bob was pure evil, we didn't like him much. Maia grabbed her PE shirt out of her bag and went to get changed into it. It was nearly lunchtime. We were on Cafeteria duty so that meant we had to clean up everything before and after lunch. Most people disliked us after the last term so when it was our day to clean up the cafeteria, it was a mess.

On Monday I had completed most of my work.Then the next day was Athletics day and I did alright but I could have done better than I did I rolled my ankle and so did a lot of people including my sister who went home and a bit of high jump. How can you roll your ankle and then hit the bar on the high jump? 
Well, I had a good and fun week with lots of different things.

Weekend

During the weekend I went to my friends for her early birthday we played lots of games like get the oreo in your mouth with no hands. Move the M&M's to the other cup pop the balloon and don't pop yours and lots more we had so much fun. The messiest game would be the Twister slippery slide game.
The aim of the games is to keep standing and if you fall off the slippery twister mat you lose that round.

We had lots to eat and lots of candy we ( Mostly Ashling) were on a sugar high. 

Weekly reflection

This was so much fun we went to the art festival that the college where holding. There were lots of activities like Face painting, Badge making, Painting, Dance, Drawing, and sketching on the Ipad. It was really nice when the bands and dancers were doing there thang It was amazing and really cool I can't wait to do it again.   I got my face painted, I got a Flower.
